Bit Description
0 to 6 0: These bits are always "0"
7 1:The DP slave is out of memory for received diagnostic messages.
The DP master cannot write all diagnostic messages sent by the DP slave to its diagnostic
buffer.
Master PROFIBUS address
The "Master-PROFIBUS address" diagnostic byte stores the DP address of the DP
master:
•
that has configured the DP slave and
•
has read and write access to the DP slave.

Bit Description
0 to 7 DP address of the DP master that has configured the DP slave and has read/write access to
that DP slave.
FFH: DP slave was not configured by a DP master
Manufacturer ID
The manufacturer ID contains a code specifying the DP slave's type.
