Setting the proxy server

Requirement

The Control Panel is open.

Procedure

Proceed as follows:
1.

Open the "Internet Options" dialog with the Internet Options icon.

Open the "Connection" tab.

Select the "Use LAN (no autodial)" check box.

Configure the proxy server:
–

Select the "Use a proxy server" option under "Settings".

–

Specify the address of the proxy server and the port.

–

If you want to bypass the proxy server for local addresses, select

"Bypass proxy server for local addresses".

If you want to define exceptions for specific addresses:
–

Open the "Advanced Proxy Settings" dialog with the "Advanced..." button.

–

Enter the desired addresses.
Separate multiple addresses with a semicolon.

Confirm your entries with "OK".

Result

The proxy server is configured.
