6.8.1.3. Alignment – Bracket Adjustment
Refer to the IR Safety Warning at the start of this handbook, alignment
must only take place from behind the camera. The camera must not be
powered when personnel are working at height in front of the camera.
The bracket arrangement may vary by installation so this section assumes a standard Sicore II
Siemens bracket with pan, tilt and roll adjustment as shown in Figure 18.

Alignment is physically achieved as follows:
Aim the camera approximately at the capture zone and half tighten the bolts for all three axis
of adjustment. When the alignment is reasonably close tighten all bolts further so that very
little movement is possible, this allows for finer adjustment as the bracket movement is stiff.
Finally, when alignment has been completed, ensure that all bolts are tightened fully, this
last tightening should introduce little or no additional movement in the alignment if this
process is followed.
