Setting the base station via the handset
The base station settings are carried out using a registered Gigaset S68H hand-
set.
Protecting against unauthorised access
Protect the system settings of the base station with a PIN known only to your-
self. You have to enter the system PIN if, among other things, you register and
de-register a handset, change VoIP settings or reset the phone to factory set-
tings.
Changing the system PIN
You have to enter the system pin when, for example, you register a handset
with the base station, change VoIP settings or start the Web configurator.
You can change the base station's 4-digit default system PIN ("0000") to a
4-digit system PIN known only to yourself.
