Settings
Factory Defaults
When you reset your set-top box to the factory default settings, you essentially delete
all settings you have made yourself. Note that any changes to favourite lists and all other
special settings are also deleted in the process. The default channel list is restored. The
data stored on the integrated hard disk is preserved.
Caution:
The process cannot be reversed. You should therefore take note of all settings
that are important to you before resetting to the factory defaults.

The default values for the factory settings are shown in the next table:

Acknowledge the confirmation prompt with the
Yes
option in order to
reset all settings to the factory defaults.
Your set-top box then restarts and calls up the installation wizard, see
"Running the Installation Wizard" on page 21.

The timer list was deleted, no further recordings are
planned.
Favourites & Channel
Lists
The channel and favourite lists were deleted.
The factory default channel list and, if available, a country-
specific favourite list are created when the system restarts.

All recordings and files stored exist unchanged on the hard
disk.
