Terminating timeshift playback
Setting the Sleep Timer
Use the
Sleep Timer
option to choose a time period after which your set-top box
switches automatically to standby mode. The
Sleep Timer
option is not available during
an ongoing recording (also timeshift).
Activating the Sleep Timer
Changing the Sleep Timer
You can change a programmed sleep timer by selecting a different time period.

Jump to the current end of the timeshift playback in order to continue the
playback of the current programme without the timeshift.
The timeshift recording continues running in the background.
S
Press this button again to end the timeshift recording.
The following options are available for selection in the
Stop recording
menu:
u
Stop and save
The set-top box stops the timeshift recording and stores the data
recorded to date in the film or radio archive.
u
Stop without saving
The set-top box stops the timeshift recording. The data recorded to
date for this recording is deleted.
u
Change end time
The timeshift recording is continued as a normal recording up to the
point in time selected here. The recording is then stored in the film or
radio archive.

window.

Choose a time period.
o
Confirm your selection in order to activate the sleep timer.
Following expiry of the selected time period, your set-top box switches
automatically to standby mode.
