4.5.4
Network address
The network address is composed of the area, line, and device address (even if no
area and line couplers are used).
Example: 3.7.21 (Area 3, line 7, device 21).
The address reflects the unambiguous position of a device on the overall network
and is UNIQUE.
The RXB / RXL controller are factory set to address 0.2.255.
The following ranges are available:
Area:
0 … 15
Line:
1 … 15
0 reserved for area coupler
Device:
1 … 253
0 reserved for line coupler
254 reserved for tools
255 reserved for factory setting

4.5.5
Limits
Communications on the Konnex bus takes place at 9600 Bit/sec. We recommend
limiting one line to no more than 45 controllers to keep bus traffic within reason.
More lines should be setup and separated by a line coupler when there are more
controllers in a plant.
4.5.6
Zones and zone addresses
In LTE mode (together with Synco devices), set up various zones. We recommend
using worksheets for engineering.
See Synco intranet, Excel worksheet under Synco700:
Relevant zone and their settings ranges for RXB / RXL
•
Geographic zones:
Stands for geographic / spatial areas (typically a room)
The geographic zone is separated into three parts: Apartment . Room . Subzone
Example: 5.17.1
Apartment: 1 … 126 Can also be designated with room group.
Room:
0 … 63
Corresponds to a actual room / office.
Subzone:
0 … 15
Zones within a room, e.g. for lighting rows are
blinds.
•
Timer zone:
Stands for an area (typically multiple rooms) applying to a certain time schedule.
See geographic zone for design. Typically, the apartment part varies, while the
room and subzone remains on 1.
