Software for communication with a telecontrol server
The CP is configured in "Telecontrol" mode.
The telecontrol server requires the "TELECONTROL SERVER BASIC" software.

Requirements for using GSM services
A contract with a suitable GSM network provider
–
The contract must allow the transfer of data using GPRS.

The contract must allow the assignment of public IP addresses.

If there is to be direct communication between GPRS stations ("GPRS direct" mode),
the GSM network provider must assign fixed IP addresses to the CP 1242-7 GPRS V2
and forward the frames to the destination subscribers.
