7.6 Call station PT2009-A1
7.6.1 Mounting
The 'PACE-Bus' (RS485) 'Desk call station (RS485, 8+1)' PT2009-A1 is designed
to be placed on a desk.
It can be extended with up to 3 'Call station extension (RS485, 8)' PTO2006-A1,
each with 8 buttons to a maximum of 32 buttons. See Call station extension

The buttons can be labeled with insertable labels. The label can be accessed by
opening the label lid.
All buttons are freely accessible and can't be locked.
7.6.2 Installation
The PT2009-A1 is internally pre-installed.
The PT2009-A1 offers RJ45 (J1, J2) connectors at the back of the housing to
connect it with the Cerberus PACE cabinet via a copper Ethernet cable (CAT5).
This cable is used to wire the 24 V, the 'PACE-Bus' (RS485), the analog audio in
and the analog audio out.
In the system cabinet a PTO2008-A1 is used to route all signals to a copper
Ethernet cable (CAT5). See Call station interface (RS485) PTO2008-A1 [
Up to 4 PT2009-A1 can be connected to one digital audio matrix via one PTO2008-
A1 in a daisy chain configuration.
