SNMP Trap Configuration
SNMP traps for alarm events
If an alarm event occurs, a SCALANCE X-200RNA can send traps (alarm frames) to up to 10
different (network management) stations at the same time. Traps are only sent when events as
specified in the "Agent Event Configuration" menu occur (see Section "Agent Event
Configuration (Page 126)").
Note
Traps are sent only when the "Traps" option was selected in "SNMP Configuration".

SNMPv1 Trap Configuration
• "IP Address"
Here, you enter the IP addresses of the stations to which a SCALANCE X-200RNA will send
traps.
• "Enable Trap"
Click on the check box next to the IP addresses to enable the sending of traps to the
corresponding stations.
