System components
The system unit houses the motherboard, the processor board, the controllers and
the power supply. A

" hard disk drive and a

" floppy disk drive are installed in
the system unit by default. Quarter-inch, 4 mm and 8 mm cartridge tape drives and
CD-ROM drives can be installed as options.
The following equipment can be attached to the system unit:

The optional PCI graphics controller is recommended for 21" (50 cm) color
monitors.
