5.1.2 Attaching printers, modems and terminals

You use the Bitronics interface (1) (Printer) to connect the system printer to the
system unit. You can attach modems, terminals and additional printers to the V.24
ports (2) (CONSOLE/COM1 and PORT1/COM2).
Connecting a printer to the Bitronics interface

Attach the power cord and the connecting cable to the printer as described in
the printer operating manual. You can order a connecting cable separately if
you need one (maximum allowable line length three meters).
Ê Attach the other end of the connecting cable to the matching port on the
system unit (1).

Secure both connectors.
Attaching a printer (or modem) to a V.24 port
Ê Attach the power cord and the connecting cable to the printer or terminal (or
modem) as described in the accompanying operating manual.

Attach the other end of the connecting cable to the matching port on the
system unit (2).
Ê
Secure both connectors.
