If external device monitoring is configured and there is an EDM warning, diagnostic LED 1 flashes, while the other diagnostic LEDs 2, 3 and
4 indicate the alignment quality. If there is an error on the reset pushbutton, diagnostic LED 4 flashes, while the other diagnostic LEDs 1, 2
and 3 indicate the alignment quality.

If the protective fields are very wide, there is a possibility that diagnostic LED 4 does not light up, even with optimal alignment.

Status indication
Overview
During operation, the status of the safety light curtain is indicated with LEDs.
The information in the tables applies both for single devices and for every device in a
cascade.
Sender
Position of the LEDs:

If the sender and receiver are connected to each other by a cable, the LEDs on the
sender indicate the same status as the LEDs on the receiver during normal operation.
The STATE LED on the sender adopts the status of the OSSD LED on the receiver.
If the sender and receiver are not connected with each other, the STATE LED on the
sender lights up yellow when the sender is in operation and no faults are present.
