In case of a rejected test, lines that contain a non-conforming parameters are marked
“*” in the leftmost position.
Parameters shown for a geophone test entry are:
the geophone string number;
the polarity test result including ‘+’, ‘-‘, or ‘+-‘ (for an string composed of geophones
with different polarity);
RMS-noise;
leakage resistance;
natural frequency;
damping;
sensitivity;
total harmonic distortion;
impedance;
measurement temperature.
The value fields (right column) are filled in only for the tests included in the sequence
(4.4.3. “Sequence of tests”).
For a self-test entry:
total harmonic distortion;
even harmonic content;
odd harmonic content;
inherent bias of the measuring channel;
inherent noise of the measuring channel;
resistance of built-in standard resistor;
resistance of built-in standard resistor simulating leakage currents;
built-in standard resistor impedance;
generator frequency at which measurement was carried out;
generator amplitude at which measurement was carried out;
The permissible range for each controlled value is given in square brackets.
4.4.9.2. Memory usage
Execution of this menu option causes the overall number of entries stored in nonvolatile
memory and the number of entries that can still be performed to be displayed on the
screen. The same information can be displayed by pressing the MEMORY button in any
menu apart from dialogue menus.
The information remains on the screen during 4 seconds following which automatic
return to the “Memory menu” (or to the menu where the MEMORY was pressed) takes
place.
4.4.9.3. List files
Execution of this menu option causes the list of files (entries) contained in memory to be
displayed on the screen (Fig. 16).
