6. Connection Diagrams
The figure below shows the diagram of Tester connectors:
External connectors are shown in the left part of the diagram. The connector Х5 is
designed for USB-cable connection, the connector Х4 — for connection of the external
power supply, the connector Х3 — for connection of the remote temperature sensor and
for connection of geophones (geophone strings).
A geophone string should be connected to the contacts Х3:1 (+GPH) and Х3:2 (-GPH).
To ensure leakage measurement, the “earth” circuit should be connected to the contact
Х3:5 (EARTH) (see “4.4.3.3. Leakage”). When a shielded-type cable is used, its
braiding can be connected to the contact Х3:4 (GND). The delivery set contains a cable
with built-in temperature sensor to connect geophones (see the figure below).
