This parameter determines whether the results of execution of the predefined sequence
of tests should be written into memory, if a regular test has demonstrated any result
beyond the permissible limits. With the “Off” parameter value, the test results are not
stored.
The “Continue test with reject” parameter has a higher priority.
This
means that if the “Continue…” parameter is off, then test results are not written into
memory after rejection irrespective of the “Write…” parameter value.
For more information, please refer to “4.5. Testing geophone strings”.
4.4.4.4. Measurement Temperature
The parameter can take values “Auto” and from -99 to +99ºС. The parameter value can
be changed both by the use of LEFT and RIGHT arrows and by entering a number. On
entering “.”, the parameter takes the “Auto” value. The “-” sign is entered by pressing
the “.” (point) button. With the “Auto” parameter value, ambient temperature is
determined by readings of the remote temperature sensor or, in its absence, by
readings of the internal sensor. It should be noted that the temperature inside the tester
housing differs from the ambient air temperature due to heating in electronic
components.
This parameter determines the ambient temperature at which testing of geophones is
conducted. The measurement temperature value is used to recalculate the reference
geophone parameters that are commonly specified for +25ºС.
To check the test
results, corrected values of geophone reference parameters are used.
4.4.4.5. Polarity test
This parameter can take the “First” and “Last” values. The parameter value can be
changed using the LEFT and RIGHT arrows.
The parameter determines whether the polarity test will be executed in the beginning or
at the end of the test sequence.
4.4.4.6. Polarity test
This parameter can take the “Each geophone” and “One per string” values. The
parameter value can be changed using the LEFT and RIGHT arrows.
The parameter determines whether the polarity test will be executed for each geophone
of the string or for only one (any) geophone of the string.

- Date & Time
The Tester is furnished with a built-in real-time clock/calendar. When the Tester is
switched off, the clock is operated from the built-in lithium battery CR2032. Setting the
date and time should be performed as may be required, after alternation of summer and
winter time and after replacement of the lithium battery. The current date and time are
written into memory along with the test results.
Execution of this menu option causes the current date and time to be displayed on the
screen as shown in Fig. 14.
