the harmonic distortion of the measuring channel;
inherent offset voltage of the measuring channel;
inherent noise of the measuring channel, root-mean-square value;
resistance of standard 1000 Ohm resistor;
resistance of standard 10.0 MΩ resistor;
impedance of standard 1000 Ohm resistor.
Distortion and impedance are measured at the frequency and amplitude defined in the
“Sine wave generator” menu (4.4.12).
The self-test results can be stored in non-volatile memory for subsequent uploading to
computer, which can be accomplished by pressing the MEMORY button. In so doing,
the entry date and time and the test signal frequency and amplitude are stored as well.
4.4.14.
HW diagnostics... - Power
When this menu option is executed, the Tester displays a status of the power supply
(Fig. 18). Indications are updated every 5 seconds.

The list of monitored parameters includes:
the battery voltage;
voltage of an external power supply measured after the protection circuit. This
voltage is 0.7-1.0V below the original;
charging current;
consumption current;
the battery capacity in percent of nominal 3.2 Ah.
Pressing ESC completes execution of this menu option.
4.5. Testing a Geophone string
Once all Tester settings are adjusted, testing geophones (geophone strings) can be
started. To this end, execute the “Execute sequence of tests…” option of the main
menu. As a result, a table will be displayed where only the string number can be edited
(Fig. 19).
The top line of the table shows the current string number and the next string number.
The current string means a string where testing is currently carried out or has just been
finished. Therefore, this field is not filled in right after entering the menu. The next string
is the string to be tested after pressing the START-STOP button.
