Receiving Faxes

To receive faxes to your computer, first set the RECEIVE UNIT setting on the Sharp
Multifunction Laser unit to PC:

Press the FUNCTION key and then the # key on the unit’s operation panel.

The display shows:

RECEIVE UNIT
1=FAX, 2=PC

Press the 2 key to select PC.

Next, set the reception mode of the unit to FAX by pressing the RECEPTION MODE
key until the arrow in the display points to FAX:

When you have completed the settings on the Laser Multifunction unit, open the Fax
menu of the Multifunction Desktop and click on Fax Receive so that a checkmark
appears next to it. This turns on auto fax reception in the Multifunction Desktop.
