TD CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT
If the machine detects an insufficient amount of toner available, it will stop
copying but will continue to run while feeding toner. During this time the
TD cartridge replacement required (
) indicator will blink and the START
key indicator will go out. When sufficient toner has been added, the blinking
indicator will go out and the START key indicator will light up indicating
that copying can be resumed. However, if toner addition continued for a
maximum of two minutes, the TD cartridge replacement required (
)
indicator will light up steadily in addition to the START key indicator
lighting. This indicates that the toner supply is low and that a new TD
cartridge will be needed soon. If copying is continued in this state, the copies
will gradually become lighter until the copier stops and the TD cartridge
replacement required (
) indicator begins to blink, indicating that the
cartridge must be replaced before copying can be resumed. Replace the TD
cartridge by following the procedure below.
For best copying results, be sure to use only
SHARP products.
Only genuine SHARP consumables carry the
Genuine Supplies label.
