connected
• Online
• Connection has been estab-
lished with a master.
• Connection is active (estab-
lished state).
Flashing red Minor fault or connection timeout • A correctable fault has oc-
curred.
• A device error is active.
• Polled I/O and/or bit-strobe I/
O connections are in timeout
state.
Lights up red Critical error or critical link failure • A correctable fault has oc-
curred.
• BusOff status
• DUP-MAC check has detec-
ted an error.

The firmware of the communica-
tion and control unit is running
correctly. –
Flashing
green/orange
Data backup is created/restored. –

Boot is active. –

• Firmware is being updated or
• Bootloader update required.

Flashing red • SD card is not inserted.
• File system on the SD card is
corrupt.
• Boot process has failed.
Switch the device off and back on
again. Consult
SEW‑EURODRIVE service if the
error reoccurs.

Lit green User program is running. –

• Program sequence has
stopped.
• Bootloader update required.
Start the user program.
Off No program is loaded. Load an user program into the
communication and control unit.
