If you are experiencing problems in-simulation, the
first two steps you should take are:
1. Ensure both Emergency Stop buttons have been
reset, if they have been pressed. The product will
not respond if they have not been reset.
2. To end the current scenario, a trainer may hold
the Esc key for 3 seconds.
a. If the software is not responding, Alt+F4
will close the program.
3. Ensure all cables are plugged in correctly, and re-
open the software.
4. If the above suggestions do not work, or
Windows is not responding, traditional Windows
troubleshooting steps can be taken:
a. Try shutting down Windows from the
Start Menu.
b. End any unresponsive tasks from the
Windows Task Manager.
c. Hold the laptop’s power button down for
10 seconds or until the laptop completely
powers down. Once powered down, allow
the laptop to remain off for 30 seconds.
This allows the laptop’s memory (RAM)
to clear. Ensure all cables are plugged in
correctly, and then turn the laptop back
on again.

SLI Guardian
The SLI Guardian is a preventative measure in place
to prevent the simulator from moving unexpectedly.
If certain setting changes have been detected, the
SLI Guardian window will appear (seen below) and
prompt the operator to follow a number of steps to
correct the issue and continue their session.
The error message will describe a series of steps.
Follow each step in succession to resolve the issue.
