Launching MEWP VR
Double-click the MEWP VR icon on the Windows desktop
to launch the simulation. Once the launcher screen is
opened, select a correct course, and input an alias and
your organization.
Note:
Launching MEWP VR will automatically open an
Oculus Store window, which may be accompanied by a
separate error message (
Can’t Connect to Oculus
).
If the error message occurs, close the error message,
but do not close the Oculus Store window.
Lift the gate latch pin on the MEWP VR simulator, and allow
the trainee to board. Once the trainee is safely inside the
MEWP VR simulator, close the gate behind them.
Ensure the gate latch is firmly seated in place.
To Open
Pull up on the
spring loaded latch.
To Close
Release the latch
so it seats correctly
and the gate is no
longer able to open.
