Articulated Boom Lift
Articulated Reach
The trainee must navigate a complex course along
a safe incline until they reach a flat area where they
can extend the boom over the incline and into the
work area. Setting up on a slope is a very common
error in the field, and one that runs counter to the
design and capability of an articulated lift.
Advanced Boom Wall
The trainee must drive alongside a wall where they will
then extend the boom to reach two sets of baskets.
This scenario forces the trainee to consider their initial
location while also penalizing driving while extended.
It helps them develop the skills required to position the
basket flat against a wall without a collision.
