Rough Terrain Scissor Lift
Unextend, Lower, and Raise
This scenario starts with the scissor lift at full
height, with the deck extended in close proximity
to overhead obstructions. The trainee needs to work
out which way the MEWP is orientated and bring
in the deck before lowering and driving to a similar
position at the opposite end of the building.
Load Truck
In this scenario, the trainee must drive the MEWP
up a ramp and onto the back of a truck. They must
demonstrate precise control of the wheels and steering.
This simulation does not cover the full procedure for
loading a MEWP for transport.
