Launching MEWP VR
You will be presented with a screen which displays “Press
the Horn button to begin.”
1. If “
Controls: Incorrect Positions
” is shown, the controls
in question will be highlighted orange. Please reset
switches to their default positions.
2. If
“Cannot Detect: Headset
” is displayed, ensure that
the headset is properly plugged into the correct ports
on the laptop.
3. If
“Cannot Detect: Touch Tracker”
is displayed, press
a button on the Oculus Touch controller mounted
next to the AWP controller. (If the Touch controller still
remains undetected, please change the batteries.)
Note:
Calibration of the MEWP VR simulator occurs when
you first start the simulator software. It will attempt to
sense the Oculus Headset and Touch Controller mounted
on the MEWP VR simulator. This is a separate process
than the Oculus Device Set Up and will happen every
time the software is started.
