The Z-PASS has a USB HOST type A connector, that can be used to connect an external USB memory; this is used for
FW upgrade (see chapter 6.4).
Please note that, on this USB port, the “hotplug” feature is not available; so, after plugging the USB device, it is
necessary to power off/on the Z-PASS to let it detect the USB device.
The Z-PASS1 also has a second USB HOST connector, with micro-USB plug-in, that can be used to connect a USB device
by means of a “Micro USB to USB” adapter; this port is no more available in Z-PASS1-IO.
The Z-PASS has two Ethernet ports with RJ45 connectors on the front panel. The two ports are internally connected in
HUB/SWITCH mode. The two ports have the same MAC Address.
