Up to a maximum of 100 different Modbus RTU Slave devices can be logged.
Up to a maximum of 6 different Modbus TCP-IP Server devices can be logged.
RS485 serial ports can be managed independently (thus even with two different baud rates).
12.5.1.
Modbus Log Error Management
Based on the type of Modbus bus error, the log file is written differently:
-If in log time, Z-GPRS2/Z-Logger did not successfully acquire 1 valid TAG value, “Undef” is logged
in the log file instead of a numeric value.
-If the Modbus RTU device responds with code “Address error Exception”, “Abort” is logged in the
log file.
-If the Modbus RTU Slave device does not respond within the Timeout time, the logger moves on
to the next TAG, the TAG that did not respond will be queried again the next time around.
