DATA ACQUISITION
The Datalogger lets you acquire data from:
-Z-GPRS2/ Z-Logger built-in I/O
-I/O connected to the RS485 ports via Modbus RTU protocol
-I/O connected to the Ethernet port via Modbus TCP-IP protocol
The maximum number of recordable channels is 128 (100 via Modbus RTU/Modbus TCP-IP, 28
from built-in I/O).
The values of some internal variables and the clock are also acquired.
All data is saved in the Z-GPRS2 / Z-Logger internal flash memory.
12.2.
SENDING DATALOGGER DATA
Log files can be sent via FTP/E-MAIL/SMS and/or saved on microSD card:
-the value of totalizers with the delta over the previous value.
-the real-time value of analog input with the minimum, maximum and average compared to the
last acquisition. Analog inputs are sampled every 50 ms (fixed value).
-the real-time value of digital inputs, power and battery status
-the hour counters values
-the real-time digital outputs values
-real-time modbus log register values
-the GSM signal value (Z-GPRS2 only)
To send datalogger data, Z-GPRS2/Z-Logger use the internal clock.
12.3.
Internal clock
Z-GPRS2 and Z-Logger come with an internal clock/calendar. This clock can be synchronised using
Easy setup/ Easy Z-GPRS2/Z-Logger software (in the "Test setup" section or when a new setup is
sent) or via internet connection. Daylight savings time management can be either manual or
automatic.
