Communication possibilities of TWinSoft
Offline: this option avoid sampling

Local:
you select a serial port of the PC (typically RS232). The Baudrate must fit with the port of

you are connected to.
TCP/IP: to establish a communication in TCP/IP, typically through the Ethernet port of
TB

LT2.
TWinSoft will establish a connection with the IP address specified in the ‘Ethernet’ port
settings (see chapter 8.1: ‘CPU resources’).
It is also possible to specify another IP address, for instance if communicating to the
TB
OX
LT2
through GPRS. (See details chapter 5.3.3 below)
USB:
You intend to access
TB
OX
LT2
through a USB port of your PC.
When you connect
TB
OX
LT2
to the PC, the driver should be installed automatically by
Windows. Would you find some problems, it can be installed manually. The driver is
available in TWinSoft directory, name TBoxUSBDriver.inf.
IP address of TBox is 10.8.10.1.
Modem: to establish a remote connection to the
TB
OX
LT2.
TWinSoft takes full advantage of
Windows' built-in modem support: simply install your modem in the control panel's
Modems applet of Windows and you are ready to call your
TB
OX
LT2
.
You can develop your TWinSoft document without connection to the
TB
OX
LT2
, but it
will be mandatory to send it to have the RTU running!
The program can be sent through RS232, RS485, Ethernet, USB or modem

IP setting of PC
When communicating to
TB
OX
LT2
through Ethernet, you have to make sure your PC is configured with
fix IP. Go to “Network” -> “Local Area connection” -> “IPv4 properties”:
