11) ALARMS TROUBLESHOOTING
Alarms Description Possible cause Checks
E01 Temperature alarm 1 NTC primary side alarm. - If the alarm is tripped for a
temperature rise due to extra
duty cycle working time at
high currents, wait for the coo-
ling of the generator. With the
generator turned on, the fans
work to speed up the cooling
of the generator.
- If the alarm is present just
switching on generator (status
"cold") the NTC1 is defecti-
ve or a cable connection is
disconnected.
See "Test on Primary Thermic
sensor ”.
E02 Temperature alarm 2 Thermic T1 primary side
alarm.
- If the alarm is tripped for a
temperature rise due to extra
duty cycle working time at
high currents, wait for the coo-
ling of the generator. With the
generator turned on, the fans
work to speed up the cooling
of the generator.
- If the alarm is present just
switching on generator (status
"cold") the T1 is defective or
a cable connection is discon-
nected.

E07 Wire feed motor supply alarm Motor's power supply failure. - Perform checks on motor card
and power supply card.
E08 Blocked motor alarm There was an engine block or
missing encoder signal.
- Checks properly encoder fit-
ting, winding and rollers area.
E10 Power module alarm Presence of fast over -current
on inverter or pfc .If the pro-
blem persist indicate a short
circuit presence on power
stage.
- Perform checks on primary
inverter section and secondary
rectifier.
- Check output rectifier diodes.
E13 Communication alarm (FP) CAN BUS communication
with front panel missing.
Could be also intend as over-
load peripheral can-bus. The
digital card doesn’t recognize
the front panel.
- Perform test on front panel.
- If problem remain is sugge-
sted to disconnect all possi-
ble can bus user’s as WU-RC.
Check integrity of cable to
front panel.Perform test and
in case repair digital pcb.

E19 System configuration alarm - Internal software doesn’t
match.
- Control software relea-
se (par.501 pwd 358 set.up
serv).
Repeat download software:
contact service Selco.
A reset is suggested.
In case the problem persist
repair 15.14.533 pcb.
