DIFFICULTY:
The game difficulty setting. There are 5 difficulty levels with VERY EASY being
the easiest setting and VERY HARD being the most difficult setting.
CABINET:
The cabinet type setting. SDX and DX can be chosen. This product, with four cars
for network play, is set to SDX.
ADVERTISE SOUND:
The setting to turn the advertising sound ON/OFF.
SPEED METER:
The speed display setting. During game play, KILO will be displayed as “km/h”,
and MILE as “mph”.
QUICK START:
Choosing ON will cause the game to advance to the Selector Screens as soon as
the credits necessary for starting are inserted.
15 COURSE MODE:
The setting for 15-Continuous Course Mode. Compared with the standard game
mode, the play time is longer.
If set to OFF, 15-Continuous Course Mode cannot be played.
With ON CHARGE, 15-Continuous Course Mode can be played. Setup for
additional credits can be found in System Test Mode’s COIN ASSIGNMENTS
under GAME COST SETTING.
With ON FREE, 15-Continuous Course Mode can be played without additional
credits. (See LINDBERGH service manual.)
DRIVER CHANGE MODE:
Choose FREE or CHARGE.
FREE allows selection without additional credits.
CHARGE requires additional credits. Setup for additional credits can be found in
System Test Mode’s COIN ASSIGNMENTS under GAME COST SETTING.
TITLE TYPE:
The setting for the Title Screen type. AMERICA shows the American flag, and
CLOUD shows clouds.
LINK_ID:
The setting for the cabinet player numbers. Set a different number for each unit
within the group. Do not set the same numbers within a group. If using network
play, LINK_ID, TOTAL MACHINE, and GROUP must be set on each cabinet
independently.
TOTAL MACHINE:
The number of network connected game cabinets. Sets the number of competing
cabinets in Versus Mode. Setting this to “1” limits possible play modes to Single
Player Mode only.
GROUP:
Used for dividing networked cabinets into groups. For example, to split up a
group of four networked machines into two groups of two cabinets, set two
cabinets to “1” and the other two cabinets to “2”.
