14) Calibration
This function doesn't exist if the unit is % of good running.
It allows : - to RECALIBRATE the device according to a known or estimated dust
concentration value (ex : 1 year recalibration)
- If the 24 hours option, to REFINE the "adjustment" of the sensor after an
"auto sensibility". In fact, during "auto sensibility", the SPX 100 works with
the averaged measure (
60 minutes). To make an adjustment on a more
important period (
1 month), use this function "auto calibration).
a)
Enter the required period (e.g. start and end of a mass measurement) using the
same principle as in the "average calculation" section.
b)
The result obtained by the SPX 100 is calculated and then displayed. Press the VALID
button.
c)
Correct the value displayed with your result using the up, down, right and left buttons
then press the VALID button.
NOTE: * the calibration of the SPX 100 affects the measuring scale.
* when the calibration has been done, the SPX 100 adjusts its calculations
accordingly.
BE CAREFUL
:
as the calibration affects the measuring scale, the alarm limit may
become greater than the scale. In this case, the SPX 100 switches to the alarm limit setting
position until this is acceptable once again. Also check that the 4-20 mA scale is still
correct (see setting the 4-20 mA scale).
15) Language adjustment
To choice the language for all the messages with the user :
Choice the desired language with the “up” and “down” keys.
