vate the frontal and lateral passenger Air
Bags.
This measure is necessary in the excep-
tional c ases where a c hild seat must be

Deactivation
•
Turn the ignition to the off position
•
Turn the key lock switch to the “OFF”
position using the ignition key.
•
Ensure that when the ignition is
switched to the “ON” position, the “AIR
BAG O
OFF” warning light always comes
on.
