4.4   SHUTTING-DOWN WASHER 
 

a.  Shut off the electric power to the washer. 

 

b. Shut off all the supply lines connected to the washer:  compressed air, steam, hot 

(and/or cold) water, de-ionized water. 

 

c.  When the washer is shut down for the day, it is recommended that the debris baskets 

and screens be removed from the washer, emptied and cleaned.  Passing the baskets 

and screens under a stream of water is usually sufficient.
