Step 15

Install call stations

Install the call stations.

Procedure

1

Mount the call stations starting with the lowest landing. 
An example of a call station is shown below.

When mounting the call station, be sure to allow 
enough clearance for the carriage at the landings.

Mount the call station at a height of one meter (39 
inches) from the floor to the center of the call station.

4

If mounting the call station on a post instead of 
attaching it to the wall, ensure the post is plumb before 
mounting.

5

Wire the call stations according to the Electrical 
Schematics shipped with the lift.

Step 16

Route and connect electrical wiring

Route and connect all electrical wiring.

Procedure

1

Connect all electrical wiring in accordance with the 
Electrical Schematics provided with the lift.

2

Set up a ground connection (if required).

3

Choose the most effective method of wiring for your 
installation; no two systems are the same.

In general, the following electrical connections are 

required:

• 1 cable for upper hall call landing station
• 1 cable for lower hall call landing station
• 1 cable for each intermediate hall call landing station
• 1 cable for lower normal limit switch
• 1 cable for each intermediate normal limit switch
• 1 cable for lower final limit switch and overspeed 

switch

• 1 cable for upper normal limit switch and upper final 

limit switch

• 1 cable for motor connections
• 1 cable for connection of the brush contact
