Step 10
Install normal limit switches
Install the normal limit switches.
Procedure
1
Slide the
lower
limit switch/mounting plate assembly
into the track on the bottom of the lower rail tube.

Slide the
intermediate
limit switch/mounting plate
assembly (if required) into the track on the bottom of
the lower rail tube.

Slide the
upper
limit switch/mounting plate assembly
into the track on the bottom of the lower rail tube.

Adjust limit switch positions (once unit is running)

You will need to adjust the position of each limit switch
mounting plate in reference to the stop position of the
platform at each landing.

At the lower landing stop position, the carriage must
touch down slightly on the bottom with the buffers on
the backside of the carriage in the lower position.

At the upper landing stop position (and also at the
intermediate landing stop positions), the platform
should be in line (level) with the landing.

Adjust the bolts on the switch mounting plate in
reference to the bypass switch. Bolts 1 and 2 for the
lower and upper limit switch mounting plates are
shown in the illustration below. For the intermediate
switch mounting plate (if present), there are four bolts.

Run the carriage down to the lower landing again and
stop it in the desired loading position. Allow the
carriage to bottom out on the lower landing.

Run the carriage up from the lower landing and back
down again. If the lift does not stop in the correct
landing positions, adjust the switch mounting plates as
necessary.
10 Tighten all switch mounting plate hardware when
complete.
