9. REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL
The safety information from section 2 “Safety” must be observed.
DANGER!
Risk of crushing!
There is a risk of limbs being crushed by the magnetic chucks tipping over
or falling during removal.
■
Persons may only be present outside of the hazard area. Do not stand
under suspended loads!
■
Secure the magnetic chucks and system parts against falling or tipping
over.
Only use sufficiently large load attachment devices for transport.
■
When lifting the magnetic chucks, only use suitable and approved lifting
gear which are designed for the weight of the magnetic chucks.
■
Use the lifting threads on the larger pole plates. Use lifting lugs (see
section 4).
■
Do not use any magnetic lifting devices!
The components of machines and systems are recyclable materials.
They must be reintroduced into the recycling process as per the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU.
■
Dispose of the electro permanent magnetic chucks in line with the applicable country-specific
regulations.
