1 INTRODUCTION

Warranty conditions, guarantee and liability
We offer a one-year warranty for our device from the date of invoice. This warranty is limited to replacing parts on
which a defect was found.
The warranty for all SAV products is limited to deliveries within the Federal Republic of Germany. For deliveries
outside of the Federal Republic of Germany, the additional costs arising from work carried out abroad will be
charged.
The warranty excludes:

Defects which are caused by connection to voltage sources which do not comply with the information on the
type plate
■
All types of wear which are the result of inexpert use without observing the information in the operating instructions.
■
Damage to fuses, indicator lights and relays
■
Machine downtime cannot be charged for.
The manufacturer's General Terms and Conditions for warranty and liability apply. The T&Cs are available for
download from our homepage.
The manufacturer excludes warranty and liability claims for injury and damage which are caused by one or several
of the following:
■
Use of the permanent magnetic chucks contravening the intended use
■
Failure to observe the information, instructions and prohibitions in the operating instructions
■
Unauthorised structural changes to the electro permanent magnetic chucks
■
Insufficient monitoring of wear parts
■
Maintenance and service work not carried out incorrectly or late
To speed up execution of warranty and repair work, please always state the SAV classification number, the SAV
order number and the magnet number in all correspondence.

Copyright
These operating instructions are protected by copyright. All rights reserved. These operating instructions, whether
whole or in parts, may only be copied with the express authorisation from SAV GmbH.
Violations will result in liability for damages and can result in criminal prosecution.
1.5
Delivery and scope of delivery
Upon delivery, check whether the magnetic chuck was delivered completely and is undamaged.
Please contact us if any defects are found.
The scope of delivery includes:

Electromagnetic chuck
■
1 stop bar, crosswise (only for grinding magnets)
■
1 stop bar, lengthwise (only for grinding magnets)
■
Lifting lugs for larger devices
■
Operating instructions for the magnetic chuck (available for download from our homepage)
■
Operating instructions for the polarity reversal control unit (if included; available for download from our homepage)
