Activating the Service Mode
The LP/LA balances are equipped with a service mode that enables ex-
panded calibration/adjustment functions.
The service mode only remains active until:
1. you press
M
to exit the menu, or
2.
c
is pressed when the “Service CAL Selection” menu is displayed
The weighing mode is active (
0.00
g is displayed - depending on the balance
model)

Note:
In most cases it is not necessary to use service software programs (PSION or
Sartocas) to adjust the LP/LA balances, because all necessary adjustment func-
tions are accessible when the balance is in the service mode.
You only need to use the adjustment software if the current adjustment error is
greater than 2% or if multiple adjustment steps are necessary due to unfavor-
able ambient conditions.
