Operating the Balance
Key Functions
e
On/off. Turns the display on/off. The balance remains in the
standby mode.
c
Clear function. Used to interrupt/cancel functions; e.g., delete
data from memory, cancel calibration/adjustment functions, etc.
t
Tare. Zeros the display.
p
Print. The displayed data is output to the printer.
w
Toggle. Toggles the readout between weight and calculated
value when using the counting, weighing in percent or calculation
programs; otherwise, toggles between two weight units.

SETUP. For accessing the SETUP program menu, storing menu
codes, exiting the menu.

SETUP Program

to turn on the balance.
– Wait until the power-up routine is completed (delayed power-on, display
segment test, function test).
– If the symbol to the left is displayed, press

– The symbol to the left appears.
– The 6 function keys are automatically programmed with different functions.
The function keys are numbered from right to left from 1 to 6, i.e. function
key 1 is the key next to the

key.
– Press F1 to access the “

” mode.
– Press F2 to access the “
menu.

” mode.

Except for the INFO mode, all other menus are stored by means of the user
password.
Note:
The input options available in the MENU and in the INPUT mode are
expanded when the balance is switched to the service mode (see “Overview
of the User/Service SETUP Program,” page 9).
