5.2. CONSTANT AIRFLOW (CAV)
Operating mode where roof fan maintains constant airfl ow setpoint within the limits of the unit performance curve.
For verifi cation or activation of CAV operation mode:
1. Microswitch S1.1 in ON position (see locations in section 4.2.).
2. Tube marked as “P” connected to right pressure tap of the terminal box. Tube
marked as “V” connected to left tap.
3. Airfl ow setpoint adjustment using potentiometer S4. Table below indicates the
setpoint value (m³/h) depending on position and roof fan model:

5.3. VARIABLE AIFLOW VOLUME (VAV)
Operating mode where fan performs a linear proportional regulation depending on up to three external analog inputs
AI1, AI2 and AI3 (see locations in section 4.2., terminals J7, J8 and J9). The inputs may be 0-10V or 4-20mA type. If more
than one analog input is installed, the control system will take as a reference the one that at each instant means a higher
speed value.
For verifi cation or activation of VAV operation mode:
1. Selection of one of six VAV operation modes using S4 potentiometer and positions A – F (see locations in section 4.2.).
There are six previously parametrized operation modes adapted to sensor type to be wired and described in table
below:
