Reference No. 6) Forced-Operation and Forced-Defrost Procedure
<Forced-Operation>
This is a function for the immediate operation
of COMP and F-FAN regardless of the
temperature inside the Freezer.
1. Forced-Operation will be started by
pushing a button on MAIN PCB located at
the top of the refrigerator.
2. Buzzer sounds.
<Forced-Defrost>
This is a function for the operation of
R-Defrost or the concurrent operation of
F and R Defrost regardless of the setting
for defrosting.
1. With Forced-Operation operated, one more
push of button is for Defrost in only
Refrigerator. One more push of button is for
the concurrent Defrost both in Refrigerator
and Freezer.
2. Also, on Forced-Defrost, buzzer sounds.
3. For cancellation, power OFF and then, ON.

<Eject Motor Check>
Check Method for Motor when EJECT
MOTOR does not operate.
1. Disconnect CN90 from MAIN PCB.
2. Check the resistance value between

of CN90, connector, of Load Terminals.
3. If the resistance value is between 18 and
22 , it is normal.
4. If the value is 0 , it is SHORT fault. Check
the wire connection state and Motor.
5. If the value is
, it is OPEN type and
check the wire connection line.
<TEST Operation method>
This is for check whether the Motor operates
normally and whether water is normally
supplied.
1. When S/W in the KIT inside the Freezer is
pushed, TEST operation will starts. More
detailed instruction of Test operation, refer to
the section of the ICE-MAKER TEST functions.
