Description
ESSID
Alphanumeric string with a maximum of 10 ASCII
characters that identifies the network to which you would
like to connect your computer.
Note that this string is NOT case-sensitive.
NETWORKMODE
MagicLAN can be used in 'Ad-Hoc' mode where Access
Point (AP) is not required or in 'Infrastructure' mode where
all communication will be made through an AP.
Available values are as follows:
0 : Ad-Hoc mode
1 : Infrastructure mode
CHANNEL
This parameter is used as an operating channel.
The domain and its available channel are shown in Table
B.
INTEROP
Interoperability Flag. If this parameter set to '1',
MAGICLAN can be used with other wireless LAN cards
that based on IEEE 802.11 specification and support
interoperability. Otherwise MAGICLAN can communicate
only with MAGICLAN LAN card.
IRQ
Interrupt Request Number. If you use PnP (Plug and Play)
bios, you can leave this parameter unspecified.
Available values are as follows:
PCMCIA cards : 2 to F
IO
This parameter is used as an I/O base port for
MAGICLAN. If you use PnP (Plug and Play) bios, you can
leave this parameter unspecified.
Available values are as follows:
200, 240, 280, 2C0, 300, 340, 380
MEM
This parameter is used as a memory base address segment
for MAGICLAN. If you use PnP (Plug and Play) bios, you
can leave this parameter unspecified.
Available values are as follows:
C800, D000, D800
