3.5.5.2 TCP/IP Properties Setup

Continuing from the last step, “
TCP/IP Properties
” box will appear. If not already selected,
select
IP Address
tab on top of the box to display the IP configuration setting. If you find from your
network administrator or ISP that you would use DHCP so that you can get a dynamic IP
every time you
log on the network, select “
Obtain an IP address automatically
” and proceed to step 2a. If you use a
static IP address, select “
Specify an IP address
” and type in your
IP Address
and
Subnet Mask
in the
blank below, and proceed to step 2b.
Go to
WINS Configuration
tab on top of the box to proceed.
