The operator, before starting to work with this machine, must have acquired enough knowledge on the location,
function of the controls, characteristics of the machine, and must have read this manual in all its entirety.
It is anyway the duty of the operator, the maintenance, cleaning personnel, etc. to scrupulously and completely adhere
to both the regulations for the prevention of accidents and the safety regulations of the Country of destination of the
machine, and of the plant itself, on top of the instructions, regulations and general rules with regards to safety contained
in this manual.
SOME PRECAUTIONS
•
The operator must not take the machine to pieces. In case of extraordinary maintenance, call

Not dip the machine in water or in other liquid substance.
•
Not leave the electric cable leaning out supporting plane or reach hot surface (of the machine itself or of the others
near it).
•
If the socket or the electric cable are damaged, not use the machine. Call
Sammic

and ask for an intervention of
repair.
•
If the machine falls or turns over, not try to repair it. Call
Sammic.
and ask for servicing assistance.
•
The machine must work under surveillance. The operator must always switch the machine off, when he moves
away from his work place.
•
Pull out the machine plug from the mains before cleaning or making an inspection.
2.4.
RECOMMENDED INDIVIDUAL PROTECTION DEVICES
No special individual protection devices are required for the use of the semi-automatic thermosealing machines.
3. MACHINE INSTALLATION
3.1.
TRANSPORT AND UNPACKING
The indications of this section must be follow during the transport of the machine because the following situations must
happen:
•
Machine storage.
•
First installation of the machine.
•
Machine positioning.

in function of the means of transport and of the type of products to be shipped utilises packaging adequate to
guarantee the integrity and preservation during the transport. It is recommended to handle with great care the machine
during transport and positioning. Check the state of the machine through making an inspection and looking inside the
machine. Any visible deformations of machine parts show collisions happened during the transport of the machine,
which can compromise the normal functioning of it.
Check particularly the good state of the following parts:
•
External parts of machine.
•
Electric cables.
The forwarder is responsible for every damage that may occur during transport and

of every damage immediately.
When you received the machine, on the outside of the packaging carton there are indications as to address, model and
serial number. Check the packaging before throwing it away, making sure it doesn't contain any documents or machine
parts.
