Notes
During a programming session the data may be annotated with a time-stamped note.
1.
Type a text note in the
Notes
field
(see Figure 6.2).
2.
Touch the
Enter
button to save the text note with a time-stamp in the clinical data log
file, e.g.
. A screenshot of the CPA programming screen is also saved
in a ’Screenshot’ folder for the relevant visit on the CI.

Patient posture notes

Touch the arrow in the
Notes
field
to display a list
of pre-defined notes (right).

Select the required note to save it with a time-stamp in the clinical
data log file, e.g.
. A screenshot of the CPA

relevant visit on the CI.

Screenshots

Touch the
Communication Quality Indicator
icon (see Section 8.7.4) to save a
screenshot of the CPA programming screen.

The icon will briefly change its appearance to show a camera graphic to indicate that
the screenshot was saved.
3.
The screenshot is saved in a ‘Screenshot’ folder for the relevant visit on the CI.
7.8
Neurophysiological measurements
The CPA can be used with the eCLS/CLS to measure the neurophysiological characteristics of
the patient’s spinal cord as well as to test the vertical alignment of the two implanted leads.
