1-3 Handling the Drive

Remove the surface cover as explained below.

(1) For 1/8 to 1 HP drives

Grasp the upper and lower parts of the cover

with both hands, and pull the cover off the

front of the drive.

(2) For 2 to 5 HP drives

Expand the lower part of the cover horizontally, lift the cover to the front, and then remove it.
