9.4.
LUBRICATION
For re-charging or lubricating of parts, Rhenus lubricants have been suggested
as much as possible. It is permitted to substitute the suggested lubricants by
other brands of similar or higher quality.
In the suggested lubricating frequency one should look at the length of time that
is achieved first.
Most lubricating points of the press brake were provided with sufficient grease or
oil when the machine was assembled.
During normal use these lubricating points need only be provided with clean
grease at a major overhaul.
Damage due to deficient maintenance (including lubrication)
falls outside the guarantee.
9.4.1.
LUBRICATION EACH MONTH/200 HOURS
Guide cars of the linear guides
Guide cars of the linear guides mounted inside the back gauge supports must be
greased by means of an oiler on the lubricating nipples. Squirt in so much oil
that it comes out again at the wiper seals of the guide cars (remove superfluous
oil with a rag).
(KWEVE-25-B-SL contains 2,3 gr grease, KWEVE-30-B-SL contains 3,8 gr
grease, refill with 50%. Use for example Rhenus-Norlith-STM2).
The upper beam guides
These guides must be checked once a month for excessive wear and they must
be cleaned if necessary.
These guides don't need maintenance.
9.4.2.
LUBRICATION EACH QUARTER/600 HOURS
Ball screws
The ball screws that have been mounted inside the back gauge supports must be
lubricated with thin lubricating oil. If the nut has a lubricating nipple, the ball
screws must be lubricated by means of an oiler on the lubricating nipples. Squirt
in so much oil that it comes out again at the wiper seals (remove superfluous oil
with a rag)
(Use for example Rhenus-Norlith-STM2).
