9 OPERATION AND USE
The use by children older
than 8 years or by persons
with
reduced physical,
mental or sensory abilities
or with lack of experience
and
skills is allowed,
provided that they are
supervised or instructed on
how to use the appliance
correctly and that they
understand
the hazards
involved.
Children must not play
with
the appliance.
Children must not carry
out
any cleaning and
maintenance operations
without being monitored.
For hygienic reasons, after
the machine has not been
used for a long time, it is
recommended
to
thoroughly rinse the circuit.
9.1 Warm-up
The message indicating the machine condition during the
warm-up phase may be shown in different areas of the panel.
Below is an indication of the three potentially affected
areas.
1 Group 1 is warming up
2 Group 2 is warming up
3 Steam water boiler in heating mode
9.2 Shelves adjustment and cup
placing
Most of the cups and mugs available on the market can be
used with this coffee machine.
The machine is supplied with tiltable small cup holder
grills, to be used with mugs or cups or glasses for latte
macchiato as well.
Manually move the left or right grills up- or downwards to
adjust its height.
