Flag is indicated if:

The test button is pressed.

The vertical speed indicator fails.
−
Loss of vertical speed data from the
ADC.
Vertical speed pointer
Vertical speed scale.
Scaled in fpm x 1000.
Push TEST button
When pressed and held:
−
Warning flag comes in wiew.
−
Pointer moves to 6000 fpm up position.
